It Is Here(Verse 1)
In every heart there is a pathway
Where no one is allowed to go
Filled with walls of iron sorrow
Sinched with locks of discontempt
And though you have made attempts
A million plans to knock them down
It's in this heart I find it hardest
To keep myself
From letting you inside
There is a sweet beauty that I somehow feel is true
A smile upon a rusty face
So take these hands and help me out
Not a drop left of doubt
That it is here, that I love you
And someday soon
I'll tear down the fortress
that was holding me back
Away from you
Let me start by letting you in
You can help me sweep the floors
Where stains of red meet tears of white
Dents in wood, and scars in flesh
They remind me of every fight
And every undying wish
And why I had built these walls
I feel you arms around my shoulders
And know that everything's alright
I know it's not much
But I can share it
I feel as if you are worth it
And if one day you can no longer bare this place
Prof, Read me a Story"'Snow White'? My Prince, you are much too old for such stories."
The Prince in question pouted at the statement.
"I am not too old! Please Prof!" He practically threw himself on the other man, who sat stiffly on the edge of the bed. The Prince, holding the book and putting it in his face, demanded gently, "Read it to me!"
Prof sighed a little, uncomfortable with the book being pressed against his nose. "This is the fourth fairytale this week..." He gently grabbed the book from Spade and looked at its cover, a sillouete of a beautiful woman with long hair in a sweeping gown holding a blood red apple. "What will your father think of me, reading to you things that are fictional and unimportant?"
"But he doesn't know!" The Prince shot back, hoping on the bed that Prof was sitting on, but the caretaker's back was still turned. "I like this one a lot--Please read it! PLEAASE." He hugged his caretaker from behind, burying his little face into the strong muscles, pleading.
